fuel pressure test for TPI

Car: 88 Iroc Z, 00 SS
Engine: 5.7 HSR, 5.7 LS1
Transmission: 700r4, T56
Axle/Gears: 3.23, 3.42
fuel pressure test for TPI

to check the fuel pressure in a TPI engine, you just need to disconnect the line running to the fuel rail,and connect the gauge in place don't you?

No, there is a schrader vavle on the fuel rail. See pic, it's on the top.right in this picture.

wow this is old, the fuel enters the rail first. The regulator is used to create a restriction at the return side of the rail and this makes sure that there is adequate fuel pressure throughout the entire rail

I have videos on the fuel pump and the filter.
