fuel pressure test for TPI
to check the fuel pressure in a TPI engine, you just need to disconnect the line running to the fuel rail, and connect the gauge in place don't you?

Re: fuel pressure test for TPI
wow this is old, the fuel enters the rail first. The regulator is used to create a restriction at the return side of the rail and this makes sure that there is adequate fuel pressure throughout the entire rail

I have simialar symptoms on my 91 tpi 5.0, its struggles to start like yours then eventually after about 3 tries it turn on but it has a rough idle and wants to bog out, as soon as i step on the gas pedal it shuts off. I also think its my fuel pump which ima change next weekend hopefully it gets my car on the road. Thanks for posting the video
