I went to the drag strip last friday and noticed at the end of the night my battery was extremely low. I tested the battery and it had 9 cranking volts and decided to change it since it was 6 years old. I put the new one it, it starts like it did before very slow. I try to start it again now and it wont crank. I charged it over night and it still doesnt crank. My lights come on inside and radio too.

you might have gotten a bad battery, if theres a shorted cell youre not gonna get any CCA or hold a charge for that matter, id take it back and have it tested.

theres been a few times where its happened to me the batteries just sit on a shelf for a long time and sometimes theyre bad
