TBI Serpentine Compatability

I have a question about the TBI serpentine set up. I had read a few comments that the TPI set up will work with any SBC but the TBI would only work with a car with TBI. I tried searching and couldn't find any mention of it now (only ones for sale even though I selected engine swap and the general engine options lol).

Did it have something to do with headers? The brackets themselves look basically the same from what I remember.

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

The brackets themselves were identical for all car style V8 serps. The only parts that changed were the steel reinforcement rods going from out lying accessories to either the intake bolts or manifold bolts. Most people toss them in the trash to clean up the look or when upgrading to headers

Re: TBI Serpentine Compatability

Thank you.

That's what I was hoping for. I also had the idea that they were probably the same since it makes sense to try to use the same parts as much as possible.

I'm thinking that a guy could get by relatively cheap by using the alt and power steering on one side, and the AC delete pulley on the other.
