4 cyl question

I am looking at a 1984 Camaro that originally had the 2.5l 4 cyl. Will any of the RWD Iron Dukes fit with mild modification? and as to why I want the 4 cyl, I'm pondering the idea of racing it in the 4 cyl division at the dirt track I race at... pending approval.

Thanks,
Matt

Re: 4 cyl question

never actually checked, but i'm pretty sure s-10 iron
dukes are the same as f-bod,'78-80 monza should
be too.Somewhere i have heard that some iron dukes
had the rods forged at the wrong temperature and
those rods can fail if abused in a racing situation
-just something to check
