I bought this camaro from the police auction and since than I am trying to make it run, but the key I found under the seat is a Key with no electronic chip and using the vin info the dealer informed me that that particular car dont have a chip in the key. But I have the dash security light on and the key dont start the car. I built a bridge from baterry to starter motor to turn the car on but the engine rotates and dont run but will start with starter fluid and keep going while pumping the gas pedal as long I keep pumping the gas pedal than dies if I stop pumping. I also can hear the fuel pump on for a second when turn ignition to on position.
How can I make this beautiful car run normal?????

Is it tb or tpi? It might be your injectors are stopped up. If its tpi it gets the fuel from the electrical pulse to each injector. But I dont know how pumping the gas peddle is helping anything unless for some reason someone put a carb on it.

 

it is a carburetor with 2 injectors in the top, when I press the gas pedal it injects gas from the carb to the trought but fuel injectors are not responding

 

I'm having the exact same problem. I think its either the injectors or your connection to the injectors. unfortunately, I don't know how to unclog the injectors. if you find out what it is, keep me posted. ill do the same.
