I got a Demon 750Mech secondary through a trade, I put a kit in it and am having some problems. When i had it apart I scrubbed everything down and cleaned all passages in the metering plates, but now that I have the carb on the car I'm not getting any fuel out of the secondary accelerator pump squirter. I found the accelerator pump to be working well with the float bowl off, but I have a restriction in the main body between the accelerator pump squirter and rear metering plate. I've tried forcing the clog out with carb cleaner with no luck, and I've tried forcing the clog out with a fine piece of wire, but had no luck. The passage is soaking in carb cleaner now, but does anybody have any suggestions on how to clear the passage? Like I said above, I've tried carb cleaner and wire, I even gave it a shot of compressed air, any other suggestions?

 

I'd be doing the same, just checking each passage and running a wire or the none cutting end of a drill bit down the passages. Might be possible the metering block gaskets could be blocking the port too.
