gurgling sound

gurgling sound
My motor is making a gurgling or gargling sound after it runs a few minutes. It's an 88 305 tbi. Could that be a vacuum leak. It kind of sounds like the air breather lid is rattling but it is screwed on tight.

I'd be looking toward the cooling system.
Leaks anywhere will allow air into the system and when it runs air bubbles passing out to the overflow tank gurgle!!

I agree, sounds like something in the cooling system. Check the level of coolant in the radiator.
