Cam selection for 350

Hi everyone,
I am looking into buying a nice camshaft for my camaro. It is an 86' with a 1st gen 350ci engine and 5 speed manual transmission. With an Edelbrock permormer RPM manifold and hedman headers. I am also running 150 shot of nitrous.. Occasionally.. this is a street/strip car. Not a pure nitrous running car.

So i am not sure if i should stay with an actual nitrous cam or a street/strip?

Next.. As most people would want, 1st best performance, 2nd is a nice chopey and cool sound. So what would be my best bet? I am also looking for something affordable so probably a flat tappet cam for now.

Im not to sure about a thumpr cam tho, i cant see that giving my car the best performance, although it does sound nice.

Suggestions?
Thanks

Some more things we need to know first:
What kind of heads (for max lift reasons)?
Is it carbed?

Sorry I cant recommend too much, I mostly just went with the biggest lunati voodoo that i could fit without modding my vortec heads (which was just the second smallest)

Yea they are stock heads for now. I am not driving the car till spring and i should have some nice aluminum AFR heads by then. As well, my carburetor.. its a 4 barrel 600cfm holley. I will look into upgrading larger and better. More into a 670-750.

You might want to post this in the engine tech section.

Also, you need to tell us which AFR heads you plan on buying and spring height.
