Fuel Line Replacement (Fuel Pump/Sending Unit Question)
I'm replacing the feed and return lines on my 92 RS 305 TBI. They are rotted out and need to replace them. I suppose I am changing the line at the TBI unit all the way to the tank.
I want to replace the fuel pump and fuel strainer. (What brand is good? Should I buy it from autozone or napa?) Also, my fuel sending unit is working (The gas gauge works) so do I have to replace that?
What exactly do I need for the fuel line replacement? I am picking up the coated line, fuel pump, fuel tank gasket. Do I need rubber hoses?
Any precautions before I drop the rear end and tank? I should probably buy new nuts and bolts because they are rusted to hell.
Sorry if there are so many questions on this. Any help would be appreciated.
