305 to 350 tbi

I'm purchasing a 350 from a guy that had a 350 rebuilt and new heads on it which is producing 260hp, not sure on the tq. It came from a 1987 1 ton chevy pickup. He said its carb'd, so i'm wanting to change my 305 to this 350, but my system is tbi; how would i go about applying my system? I think this might be the cheapest method; as i looked through threads i'd have to change alot over to convert to carb, which i don't really have the money for...

help?

I'm no expert, but I think you need a 350 TBI chip (like from a Caprice or truck), the knock sensor for the 350TBI, and 350 fuel injectors. Just plug the 350 chip into your ECM, stick the 350 knock sensor in the pass side block, and swap out injectors. But please confirm with others as I'm no expert here.

You mean I got it right? So there are actually a few things I read here that stick to my feeble brain!

Ssshhhhhh! Please don't tell my wife! She'll expect me to start remembering anniversary dates, birthdays, and crap like that! How can a fella buy car parts when all his money is spent on flowers and candy? It's a cruel cruel world!
