Holley Stealth Ram/Vortec Cam Selection

I have done quite a bit of research on this and seem to be getting conflicting opinions. I've seen .480 lift to .540 lift as well as low 200's into the .280's on duration. I am getting ready to order my cam to go with my HSR/Vortec combo. It's going on a 355 and the heads will be milled to bring the compression to around 10:5 to 1 if necessary. It has flat tops already so it should be close, but we'll have to see what deck height is and what the heads actually cc at.....

Anyway, I am running beehive springs with screw in studs and guide plates with 1:6 rollers that came with the long block. I would really like some rea; world feedback from guys running this set up and what cam they are using. I would like to know if they're happy with it or if they wish they had gone bigger/smaller.

Based on my research this is the cam I am leaning twoards. The cam I plan on using is comp 268XFI H13. I wanted to be close to hot cam specs, but using a flat tappet. Specs are 224/231 @ .050 with .520/.515 lift using 1:6 rollers, which I have.

Please let me know your thoughts so I can make the right choice! Thanks!
