Replaced hatch parts... HELP!

So i replaces my gear nut and guides with a GM gear nut and TDS guides, put it all back together and when I closed the hatch it latched, but the motor did nothing.
Now i cant even get it open!

It's at the halfway position where youre just waiting for it to pull down.
I know for a fact that the motor was working when I took it out.. Turning the key does nothing as far as releasing the hatch either.

I need fast help! How do I fix this!?

Thanks

Turning the key should unlock it. If not then its possible that the cable from the lock cylinder to the latch is poo-poo.
There is also a switch on the latch. When you shut the hatch it hits the switch and says "PULL ME DOWN".... to the paradise city where the ham is free and a girls got big ti........oops

Lol thanks for the reply, after messin with it for a while I figured it out, for some reason that switch wasn't hit and pushing the hatch a little didn't do anything, crawling in the trunk from backseat is no easy task in these cars but i managed, fixed everything and it works great now.

When the hatch moves the wires move on that switch and may eventually break. I had that happen to me while the latch was down! You're not gonna shut the hatch when the motor is down!

Oh, mine latched, but then stayed up and wouldn't unlatch or pull down.
