Hi i need some help, sorry about my english but is not my native language, i have a problem with my 92 firebird, first sometimes my car didnt want to start, there were no problems with my vats, since the security light turned on for a few seconds, and then turned off, but still wont start, i change the fuel pump, but still sometimes it just dont start. Now, its been almost a month, every morning i try to start it, but it wont start, and i notice that there is no security light at all.

 

Get the basics tested: battery, alternator, starter.
But if no lights are turning on, get the battery tested and charged at your local parts store (autozone, advanced, etc).

 

Sorry, i forgot to tell you that i replace the battery on november, and check the alternator too, the car crank. Im afraid that is something related to the vats, since theres no security light on the dash. We change some other things
but i dont know the name in english. Ill ask a friend and then ill tell you.

That's as far as I know for a 92. I don't know anything about VATS, sorry.
Someone here will chime in that knows.
