See who can figure this out first!

I have so wonderfully been enjoying my TA since getting her main issues sorted out, however, now since the weather has gotten colder I am having a new problem. Only when I start the car and it is not warmed up I will hear a click/clacking noise during cranking. She cranks, starts and runs awesome, I'm just concerned about that noise. I'm thinking maybe the oil pump is making the noise because now that it is colder my oil is thicker, but idk if my theory could even be correct. Gonna look into it tomorrow since it is finally warming up here again! Yay! Sorry for everyone who has to deal with the cold still! Any help on this issue would be great and will help steer us in the proper direction! Thanks for your help in advance!

What grade of oil are you using? What brand of oil filter is installed? What are the outside temps?

LOL, Be careful when you tell them how "cold" it's been outside! Sometimes people in other parts of the country get mad LOL!

Re: See who can figure this out first!

i would say oil is too thick guessing 5-30 or 10-30 is what you have now ? 5-20 could help its thinner maybe do oil change put in 5 -20 and see if it stops just switch back to 5 or 10 30 in the spring when it warms up
