Need 02 and egr advice

Need 02 and egr advice

I have an idle surge and occasional stalling only at low rpms on my 87 5.7 tpi. I removed the cat and complete air resurculation system and smog pump now my 02 sensor is telling my computer my motor is never up to temp and it dumps fuel badly. How do i do a proper cat delete to trick the egr and 02 to think its still there?

Exactly what procedure did you use to determine that your computer is dumping fuel badly ?

my mechanic did the diagnosis it does run extrememly rich no question about it. the o2 sensor drops voltage and the computer compensates my dumping 44% fuel and the iac shuts and chokes the motor

CTS may be bad, when its bad, it dumps fuel to compensate for a missread temprature.

Could you post up the data-log showing your O2 activity and injector pulsewidths?
What AFR is it running at vs the commanded AFR?

You're not having an exhaust leak in the manifold before the O2 sensor are you?
Are your AIR check-valves still in place? and are they capped off so the exhaust can't suck in fresh air that those points?
