L98 Head GSKT Question

What is the stock, compressed thickness with cast iron heads?

Went to the parts store and the guy didn't give me a good feeling about having the right part....

Thanks in advance!

Re: L98 Head GSKT Question

Don't worry about that. Wrong question to ask.

The part # you want is HS-7733PT-x (x is the current revision of that part #... I think it's a 4 right now, might be some other #, doesn't matter) Same gasket as any other 350.

Re: L98 Head GSKT Question

Did they come stock with the metal shims like my 305 did? Not that it would really matter since without having heads and block surfaced, shims would be a bad idea.

That 7733 is the number I just used. The super common felpro ones.
