Ok guys im going to build a 355 real soon. I have a 350 block out of a 72 camaro im going to use. Bore it out .30 over with 9 to 1's. I plain on using 2.02 double hump heads. The question I got is what cam should i get. I dont want to get to big of a cam because I was told if i get to big of one It will need new rocker arm studs. Because of the cam having to big of a lift. Is this true? If so what cam do i go with that way i wont have to have extensive head work. Also if this helps I am going to use a holley high rise intake and a 650 holley carb. Thanks guys

 

.030 over 350 with good heads will be a good performer. I suggest vortec heads instead of double humps. I built a 350 with .030 over 2256 flat tops, vortec heads, and a Erson E110030 cam made 375 hp and over flabs of torque. Cam specs are 218 duration@.050458 lift. idles smooth.
