'92 Z28 w/ LT1; Engine starving for fuel.
Hi, first post here. I don't have a 3rd gen quite yet, but after searching, and collecting enough money, I came across a beautiful red '92 z28. Only problem is, it won't start.
The owner doesn't seem to know much about the car or cars in general so that's why I'm here. If the car has been sitting for a few hours, it will usually start, but after driving it about a block away, it dies. Then it's unstartable again for a few more hours. The owner says the fuel pump is new. I've never dealt with faulty fuel problems in cars before so I'm hoping someone may have gone through this before or atleast can recognise the problem.
Thanks in advance.

I would check all ur wires for the fuel pump. Also make sure its either a tpi or lt1 fuel pump tbi won't work.. u might need a new sending unit.. or could have to much pressure built up in the tank try a vented gas cap or drill a hole or in the one u have.. could be a badly glogged fuel filter take that off and take the lines off the engine and blow the lines out with a compressor from the engine back
