Mix n Match Question: Block, Heads, TPI
Mix n Match Question: Block, Heads, TPI
1971 chevelle 350 block
New AFR 195cc straight plug heads
87-92 TPI manifold
Is this configuration possible to bolt up?
As of right now i know the intake manifold wont bolt up to the current heads on the engine i could only use a 85 TPI. I've never dealt with AFR heads before and dont know what their bolt configuration is. Any help would be great.

AFR only uses straight 90 degree intake bolts to the best of my knowledge. They may make '87-up heads, but I'll let you do that research.
195cc heads and factory TPI base is about as mis-matched as you could get, though. Low-RPM induction and high-RPM heads.
