Engine coughs and blips until warm...why?

Engine coughs and blips until warm...why?
Hi guys, For some reason my 305 TPI seems to cough and blip when I start it up. It only does this if I dont drive it for like 3 days or more though. It almost sounds like it has a cam when it happens. I think I may have a bad spark plug (because of another issue) could a bad spark plug cause this? Anybody know what the source of the probelm could be?
PS: I have a new distributor, spark plug wires, and fuel system/fuel lines

mine does this too,especially the day after it rained. check your wires,cap.
