I am swapping from TBI to carb. I can't figure out where the cable that runs to the canister up front connects to the carb?

Pics would help tremendously.

 

Going to depend on the carb. That's cruise control cable, which won't work with the ECM not operating anyway. There's a write-up somewhere here about how to rewire the cruise control module so that it works again - might be in the tech articles.
