bad heater and code 32

After driving my car home today after learning of my failing heater core my SES light came on and is throwing a code 32. My car is a 305 Tbi and after doing my reading I know that the code reads for the barometric pressure sensor. My question is, are the two related or is just coincidental. Should I not worry about the sensor untill after I replace the heater core next weekend or do i have two different problems at the same time. Thanks

Re: bad heater and code 32

Code 32 on a obd-1 vehicle means:
DTC - 32 EGR system failure

Nothing to do with a bad heater core.
