Need help with charging
Ok here is the issue I pull a old dead battery out and put a new optima in and the I notice all the light are on inside and outside of the car I'm talk headlights
, taillights, fog lights interior lights, and there is a noise almost like a buzzer type reminding me something is on.....
Needless to say I'm clueless I found the noise maker it was under the driver side column it's a black box.....but all the lights are still on.
Side note bought car 2 days ago 86 350 carb.......I would like to bypass the key ignition completely, like wire up a push button start and have all my accessories still work as well anyone done this???
Any help advice good or bad would be great thanks!!!

That is how our Buick acted after a salt water hurricane storm surge...All of the electric windows and motors trying to run. Hope you don't have that kind of a shorting out problem.

TiceBlue: PLease don't post the same question in two different sections - it confuses everyone (you because you get answers in two different places, and us because we see the same question) and it fills the boards with redundancy. Pick the best section appropriate for the issue, post once, and patiently wait for replies.
