88 Iroc 350 issues..
So my car is giving me a handful of issues... When it was running the SES light was on and it would run very rough the tach would bounce and flicker. However once in a while the SES light would go out and it would run great. Now it's done giving me a warning that a problem is occurring pulled the Codes when it was running ....
34. Low voltage (high vacuum) at mass air flow sensor (or MAP sensor)
41. Fault at cam sensor OR Cylinder select error OR Tach input error
54. Low voltage at fuel pump OR Low voltage at Fuel pump relay OR Output failure at quad driver module
Now the car will not start and SES light does not come on when I turn the key to run, the fuel pump relay does not energize. I took it upon my self to try a couple of things. I got the SES light to come on by hot wiring into the Orange wire going to my fuel pump relay... Wiring diagram says always hot however mine was not... Also according to the wiring diagram it states that there is an inline fuse on the orange line. <BR>First question Where would this in line fuse be? And where does this inline fuse link go to? For exam does it go to my ECM somewhere under the dash or straight to my battery. All the fuses in my fuse box are good. Next when I connected power to the line I could hear ticking coming from my fuel injectors pin point that noise by unplugging 1 by 1 till the last one the ticking went away.. I could hear the same thing (ticks) before when my car was running rough with the ses light on key in run not started. And when I did some check light in the fuse box with the fuse in Inj 1, both sides of FP/INJ 2 were hot if I take the Inj 1 fuse out neither side is hot on FP/INJ 2 is this normal? I love this car but sometimes it's a bigger pain in my *** than my wife. Also when I hot-wired into the orange wire it would not start still... Any think(S) would be greatly appreciated.

Re: 88 Iroc 350 issues..
is it just the engine cranks but doesnt start? low voltage at fuel pump more than likely means bad fuel pump. u could always try cranking it over and have someone hit the fuel tank a couple times with a hammer, a lot of times that will get the fuel pump runnin for a little bit (and if starts will tell u the pumps bad). Also a bad Cam sensor can cause a no start as well as a bad crankshaft sensor. a bad mass air flow sensor (MAF) wont cause a no start but can make the car feel like its missing

also if u have a voltage meter handy u can read the haynes manuel and specs for the Cam and MAF sensors and the fuel pump relay can get the specs for that also to see if there bad without buyin new ones. and check to make sure those are pluged in, ive seen a lot of cases where they had came unpluged.....i think the cam and MAF sensor will be something in volts (i dont remember what tho) and the fuel pump relay will be in ohms if i remember right....hope that helps

Engine cranks no spark.
I'm pretty sure the fuel pump is good it has been energizing and pressurizing when I put power to my orange fuel pump relay wire.

engine cranks but no spark? if theres no spark at the cylinders thats a whole other issue...if ur sure ur fuel pump is good i would test the fuel pump relay or jus buy one if they are cheap enough that or look at the quad driver module ( i have no idea what a quad driver module is) sometimes but not always u can have someone crank the car and then tap on the relay sometimes it will click and come on. but with the code u say its spittin 9/10 times its gunna be the fuel pump or the relay
