Installing oil pump
When I install the oil pump to my engine with a stud and a nut instead of a bolt what torque value should I use when I tighten the stud? The same 65 ft-lbs that is required on the bolt or something else?

Yes, make sure it goes in all the way so clean the threads and blow it out w/ compressed air.
The stud only has to engage all the threads, this gives you the retention contact area , which is a lot greater than the bolt has and it spreads the load over all the threads instead of the first couple, deforming them. There's no sense in tightening the stud, loading the casting and deforming it. That's the beauty of studs, full thread engageent and reduced deformation.
