computer distributor swap help

hey, If I bought something like this: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/DUI-12600RD/?rtype=10

could I just take out the 4 wire pin on my old one and hook it up to this? I can't find a distributor that has the 4 pins on it.

heres the one I just ordered for the TPI set up. I think the TBI uses the same one. Not sure on that one though

Re: computer distributor swap help

I think that davis 12600 you listed first is the correct one for your application. if you look at davis's website they show the harness on it

Nope
That is just the std HEI wiring from base to cap.

Computer controlled HEI dist has a seperate 4 wire harness and plug from the base to connect to the computer
Does the same function as the 4 wire connector in the small cap dist you bought
