im lookin at getting a set of l98 heads (128 casting) and put them on a pretty much stock bottom end for a 350. i have a set of 083 cast iron heads, but the l98 heads have smaller chambers with the same size valves. what i was wondering is what the compression ratio would be with these heads, 4 bolt main 350 pistons almost look like flat tops but have a very slight dish. if i go with the iron heads ima replace the pistons, but it would be cheaper for me if i can stick with the stock ones, they arent in bad shape. not lookin for much more than 300-350 horse, dont wanna have to tie the frame. oh, and i was told the engine came out of a wrecker, i dont remember the numbers on the block though (i can get those if needed) any suggestions on a cam or carb would be helpful too, exhaust will be handled by shorty headers goin into 2.5" true duals. thanks for any help in advance, and if anyone knows where i can find this info on the forum, a link would be helpful, although i did a quick search and came up with nothing
