Dash & brake lights wont turn on
hey got a 83 camaro and I just barely brought it back to life but what i noticed is that my dash wont light up and the brake lights only light up when I press the brakes....and yes I do turn on the headlights...please help

tail lights bulbs are bad or a bad fuse. [wiring maybe]
old GM trick, your dash lights go out so you know your tail lights aren't working right.

ok so i just checked the fuses n im missing a "20" thats labeled in the slot of "courtesy WDO"? does that have anything to do with it? i got a manual but it doesnt cover this topic

uhm i misread the fuse label it was the tail light fuse that burnt out... that courtesy WDO has an arrow pointing to another fuse but that one is ok..so now im looking for an exposed wire or sumthing that causes the fuse to pop

I believe the cig lighter is on that fuse also. Both of my camaros the cig lighter didn't pop out, and blew the fuse. I gutted the lighter and put it back in.
