I have a 1991 Camaro Z28 -- when trying to run at a steady speed, car occasionally will cut out like it's starving for fuel, but it you give it gas it goes. When I shut the car off, it doesn't want to start right away, but will after 5-10 mins. Have changed plugs, MAP sensor, fuel filter and throttle positioning sensor.

Not sure if this has anything to do with this problem, but the gas guage just goes either right over half or right under half. And I think that the fuel pump made almost a growling noise when the key was not in the ignition - but that had been several minutes after it had been shut off. At least we assumed it was the fuel pump.

Any suggestions?
