305tpi msd cap+rotor 8416 issues

Car: 86 Iroc + 83 Firebird
Engine: Iroc 305 TPI, Firebird 305 4bbl
Transmission: 700r4 in both.
Axle/Gears: Iroc 3.27 Firebird 3.23
305tpi msd cap+rotor 8416 issues
is this the wrong cap for it? it h as the 4 mounting srews with the l hooks on the end, i cant seem to get it tight on the distributor. rotor pops on easy? my old one just had the 4 hex head bolts that bolted down

fail its clip on type. least rotor fits, no more mis fires

yeah its weird, some shots its green, in sun its more of a lime green. not pearlescent by any means though. catches the eyes thats for sure, mostly coppers.
