I own a 89 5.7 iroc that has a cold start problem. The problem only happens when the car has been sitting overnight or not used for more than 8 hours. The car cranks but engine will not turn over. I do this maybe 3 to 5 times before it starts. I've recently replaced the fuel pump and fuel filter. The problem happened before and is still happening after the ff and ff replacement. Another thing, I cant hear the fuel pump engage.
I don't have any problems once the car turns on. I drive all day and don't have any issues. Only happens when engine is cold. Help!!
