My 88 was running fine for couple of weeks until a couple of days ago. The engine would crank but not turn over until i had it jumped. So i just it was the battery which was old anyway and i got it replaced. I put the batt in and the car but ten it made no sound at all when i tried to start it. Now im thinking its the starter so i lift the car a strike it. The car now cranks but still doesnt turn over. Can someone assure me that its probaly the starter that needs to b replaced so that i dont waste no more money thanks
