Fuel pump won't prime with key

I have a 1987 iroc Z28 it has a modified 305 tune port injection.
I recently changed the fuel pump and still the car still doesn't start.
It turns over and there is spark at the plugs but it's not starting. I tested the the new pump by using the aldl on the diagnostic linc, but when I use the key the pump still won't prime.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's possible you've got a flaky ECM (the ECM commands the FP relay at key-on for that 2 second prime). But I'd check the FP relay and it's connections first.

Check your fuse under the hood located between the battery and the radiator, should be 20 amp.

Thanks for the advice but it's not the ECM. I have a second ECM and even with it installed the pump still won't prime with the key! But thanks a lot for your suggestion.
