My hood wont fully pop open when I pull the latch, I have to jiggle the hood a little, what do I adjust to fix this. Pictures appreciated.

My 1990 Pontiac Firebird 5.0 T.B.I has a roughish idle. It usually wobbles from 600-800 or so but occasionally drops to like 200-300 for a second. It does this at stops and will sometimes die, just like I turned the key off. It starts right back up. I have heard replacing the MAP sensor and TPS sensor might fix this(From other threads in this forum). I also plan on replacing spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor, and wires, along with air filter. Any other suggestions?

Does this year of my car have a MAF sensor?

Also can someone send me some good clear pictures of the engine bay of their 1990 Pontiac Firebird 5.0 T.B.I?

Thanks for anyones help, I really like these forums.

Re: Random 1990 Formula questions
Check the IAC motor on the throttle body, cleaning it should help. There is no MAF on a '90 model or TBI car.
