recurving cc distributor?
Hey guys,
the engine in the car has a slightly higher compression ratio than the lg4 that came with it. I hear your supposed to limit the mechanical advance or something to balance the compression. But don't the computer controlled distributors take care of the timing anyway? I'm kind of confused if I need to get an advance kit or not. Also my distributor doesn't have a vacuum canister, do I need one of those? And if so do I just connected to a port on the carburetor?

yes I have the cc quadrajet on. So I won't have to mess with the distributor, but the computer? Or would the computer fix the compression difference for me?
