will this cam work? help

Will the edlebrock 2102 cam and lifter work on s stock 305?looking ti get a little lope at idle nothing much

Sure... it's pretty much a crappy generic cam, but it's better than most of the ones they put in 305s...

THat's the cam everybody calls "the" "RV cam".

OTOH, you could skip the cover charge for saying "Edelbrock" on the box, and buy THE EXACT SAME thing ALOT cheeeeeeeeeeeeper some other way. (and pay less too) http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-1102/

And of course, if you have a 87-up 305 (you don't tell us), you'll have to change your lifters and push rods too at the same time.
