Please Help, Something went Wrong.

Today we were working on timing the new engine in my Trans Am. We unplugged the wires that plug into the distributor cap so we could pull up the distributor. The key was left on and the wires arked. It fired up after that, but then the wires were left out with the key on again and may have arked again. Now the motor will not fire and the gauges have no power. The wire that gives power to the distributor has no power on it. All the fuses are fine. Any Ideas?

Turn the key off and check the fusible links.

I did lol. We figured out the problem. The PO rigged up the ignition switch in a way to where the connector was not plugged in well. So it fell out of contact.
