Some do.

Not many.

It was optional, not part of any package, had to be ordered.

So, probably not, but it might have come with it.

And of course, there's no way to know what's happened to it since. If it really matters to you, take off the cover and look, it's the only way to knwo for sure.

 

Some have a limted Slip rear RPO G80 which was a extra cost option. Some may have a posi ????

Doesn't necessarily mean it doesn't have it, or even that if it was ordered, that it's still in the car; and even if it is, given what a crappy unit it would have been (Auburn), the odds of it still working are somewhere between slim and none

You could get the LB9 in the Z28, in which case, you got the posi. But most LB9s went in IROC-Zs, for '86, and most Z28s had LG4s.
'86 was the last year you could get a Z28 separate from an IROC-Z
