Questionable gage readings

I have just finished rebuilding and restoring my 1987 IROC with a TPI 305 engine, and T5 transmission. I installed all new sensors on the block for temperature, oil pressure, and installed a new oil pump when I rebuilt the engine. I did NOT change the gauges on the dash during the rebuild. I am getting high gage readings on the temperature gauge and low readings on the oil pressure gauge. Are these readings because I have old gauges? If I purchased new gauges would this most likely solve my problems? I do not want to install aftermarket gauges, in that I am trying to keep the car as stock as possible.

Looks like these guys can recalibrate my original gauges.
