Knock sensor wire color?

This applies to an 87 TPI 5.7 auto.
There are 2 wires with same pigtails, one white one dark blue.
Which one goes to the knock sensor?

Re: Knock sensor wire color?

Other one is the fan switch wire. Knock sensor the lower one in the block, fan switch is the higher one in the head.

Re: Knock sensor wire color?

The color of the plastic on the sensors almost matches the wire colorsm (light to light, dark to dark). Little thing I picked up and remembered when bringing a basket-cast 87 GTA back from the dead. Once I realized it, I thought "oh, I guess GM did it that way on purpose."
