AFR coolant plug

I am trying to plug up the coolant hole on the back of the passenger side of my AFR head. The 3/8" plug that I am trying to use doesn't go all the way in when its tightened. Does anybody know what size this plug is?

Re: AFR coolant plug

So as long as I tighten it and put teflon tape on the pipe plug I shouldn't have any problems?
