Well I rebuilt the motor over the winter and after 3k in parts and etc I blew the motor on the dyno. Havent torn the motor nor will I be since my dad is mad haha I think I broke a lifter and blew a headgasket since the exhaust was not opening on cylinder #1. Coolant got in oil and was running for a little bit bearings are unknown and car runs on around 5-6 cylinders. I want to make it a 383 now stroker so heres what I have done so far.

Comp 503 cam
Patriot 190cc Aluminum heads
1:6 roller rockers
7/16 pushrods
Headman headers
Stealth Ram Intake
30lb fuel injectors
Holley Fuel rail
Walbro Fuel pump
Cap and rotor
8.5mm wires
stock pistons
3:73 rear gears

I want to stroke it and wonder how much hp I should have around and 1/4 mile times.

you need to give the combustion CC's ???
Headman FL or shorty??? what about the rest of the exhaust???
2 or 4 valve relief pistons ??
"7/16 NO" pushrods, FP, cap, rotor add nothing
zero deck 383???
gasket thickness???
so far I'll give you 360 - 400 <> 12 range 113 - 116

 

What kind of times do you want from the car that is the better question

 

To be honest I do not know right now. I am taking to a shop that will deck and block and heads and I know the fp cap etc add nothing was just noting for what i have in the car.

I want the car to run low 12s if possible with a 383 mid 11.
