1986 IROC-Z LB9 305 TPI. Codes = Dying when Idling in P/D?
1986 IROC-Z LB9 305 TPI. Codes = Dying when Idling in P/D?
Okay, so I have three codes.
22 - Throttle Position Sensor(what is the difference between code 21 and 22? Both say TPS)
24 - Vehicle Speed Sensor (guessing this is why my speedo doesnt work)
44 - Lean Exhaust.(my guess is this goes hand in hand with the TPS?)
So, what I plan on doing for now is cleaning, MAP, MAF, and the throttle body/plate. Or am I off base? Any help would be nice. This is my first "performance" like car. And Camaro for that matter

Replacing the TPS should take care of the 22,44 codes the VSS is on the transmission and should be replaced also both are inexpesive, when changing them you might as well clean the IAC valve and the EGR if it hasent been done in a while

I'm getting code 44 but I think it's O2 related... I'll try to fix this code and report back here.
