several questions

I have my new engine in my GTA and am just about ready to fire it up. However, over the weekend I had to pull the plug wires from the distributor cap. I had a diagram that showed what order they go on, but I have misplaced it. Could sombody tell me what order the wires go in on the distributor cap?

Also, the car has sat for about a year with the new engine in and has not been cranked during that time. Should I change the oil before firing it off, and if so, do I need to pull the distributor and prime the engine?

Thanks for the help. I just don't want to hurt my new engine. It cost plenty!

Re: several questions

Perfect! exactly what I was looking for!

Is it absolutely necessary to prime it?

Re: several questions

its not necessary but always a good idea to prime it, 1st it will tell you your going to have good oil pressure and it will fill the oil filter so you dont have a dry start (everything will have a nice coat of oil on it so no metal on metal) but like I said its okay to do it with out priming if it sat for a year change the oil as it will turn acidic over time and also contain moisture.
