My son and I just replaced the A/C compressor, accumulator and orifice in his '87 Camaro. It worked fine for the first month, spitting out ice cubes. Now the system quits putting out cold air, but the compressor is still engaged. After a while it will start cooling again, then cut out again. Don't think it is the high pressure cut out switch, replaced it too. When it cuts out the fan shuts off and it is not doing that now. Any ideas?
