86 305 tpi help please cant get it running right

I bought this car a couple weeks ago knowing it had a problem and thought I knew enough to fix it. Guess I was wrong lol. When i got it it was running very rich and wouldnt idle. It had been sitting for about 3 years. I replaced the plugs, wires, cap, ign rotor, upper intake gaskets, maf, tps, fuel pres reg, coolant temp sen on bottom of upper intake and iacv. I believe i have fixed all of the vacuum leaks as well. Now when you first start the car it idles fine then when you put it into gear it bogs down a little lower than it should and then when I return it to park it idles way up around 3500 rpms. When i try to drive it down the street it will act fine for a second and then suddenly it wont let you accelerate. When you push on the accelerator it almost cuts out and dies. I have no idea what someone may or may not have messed with before i got it. The previous owner knew very little about the car. Any ideas would be very helpful

I had a similar problem and I had at least three bad fuel injectors. Do a search on how to Ohm your injectors to see if they are within proper range. 4 of mine were at 17 and 4 were between 3 and 11. At least doing an Ohm check is not costly. Replacing fuel injectors is not completely easy but not that hard, just time consuming. If you do have to replace the injectors. You might look at your EGR valve and MAT sensor while under there. My EGR would not hold a vacuum so I replaced it and the MAT sensor looked original and I changed that too. You may not have a MAT on your year. Someone please correct me if I am wrong. Good luck!

I would ohm check the injectors and also make sure the fuel pump is putting out the right pressure. My car did the same thing with bogging down and not accelerating. It would idle fine but thats it. I replaced a bunch of sensors rebuilt my throttle body and it finally ended being the fuel pump.
