87 IROC dies at IDLE

my 1987 iroc is having trouble staying running... a few days ago i was driving down the street and noticed my bat. voltage diving then it died. After a few i realized it would stay running as long as i have the throttle applied, but when i try and let it idle it dies.. so i replaced the alternator and that helped for a day or two.. now its back to dying at ilde but with throttle applied it will say running..

ANY SUGGESTIONS ON WAT IS GOIN ON, GREATLY APPRECIATED!!

Check your fuel pump and fuel lines. My car would die at stop lights and I had to rev the crap out of it just to stay alive until the fuel pump completely went out and we found out the fuel lines were causing it to die
