(that was Factory VS Lowering springs)
Hey fellas I have an 89 Iroc. First and foremost I don't know if it was previously lowered. A couple days ago we changed the rear springs, which I'll assume were factory, and when compared to the 1" lowering Eibach springs which I purchased, the Eibachs were actually taller!! Is this common? Perhaps the Eibachs are taller but have less resistance?

Also, how long before the new springs actually settle? We'll will install the front springs as well, later next week.

Don't compare them by free-height. Gotta see how the car sits on the ground.

Most of settling happens within the first month. You can expect to lose about 1/2", give or take.
