Fuel hose connection issue(picture)
Hi guys,
I've been working on my 2.8L MPFI Firebird and have hit a stupid roadblock.
I had to replace the fuel hoses, because the PO had installed CARB rated hoses, and I need Fuel Injection rated hoses to pass safety.
Now this wasnt much difficulty until I tried to reconnect the hose to this end.

I dont remember having any issue taking it off, but I cant figure out how to force the new hose over this (almost) 90 degree bend.
IF anyone has experienced this issue any help would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like the metal part had a tube cutter applied to it.
