92 Firebird not starting, Need help please?
Okay so I have a 92 firebird V8 305 TBI and it just randomly stopped starting. When the problem happened, it would have to be cranked quite a bit for it to eventually start, but now it doesn't do anything...just turns in silence without a crank or anything.
I took my starter into autozone and they tested it and said it was fine so i then replaced my old battery that was gonna go out anytime. The problem still occurs. My dad and I took a volt meter to the starter area and one of the posts that go to the starter is not getting power, so it seems as if the starter is not getting complete power or something, but i am not completely sure. So we believe its an electrical issue and no one i know has knowledge about electrical when it comes to starting issues.
Any suggestions? or thoughts on what might actually be the issue?
